Multi-symbol runs

Run the same parameter search across several symbols from your TradingView watchlist to check robustness.

Settings fitted to one chart often fall apart on the next. Multi-symbol runs repeat your search on a list of symbols so you can see which settings hold up. Available on Pro, Developer and during the trial.

Set up

  1. In TradingView, open the right-hand Watchlist panel and add the symbols you want.
  2. In PineTune, tick Iterate watchlist symbols.
  3. Click Read to import the symbols, PineTune opens the watchlist panel automatically if needed, or type them yourself, comma-separated: BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, AAPL, TSLA.
  4. Configure inputs, search mode and filters as usual, then Start tuning.

PineTune switches the chart to each symbol in turn and gives each one its own Max runs budget. For example, 18 combinations × 5 symbols = 90 backtests.

Reading the results

Export the CSV and group by symbol. Settings that rank well on most symbols are much more trustworthy than a single symbol’s outlier.

Tips

  • Use exchange-qualified symbols (e.g. BINANCE:ETHUSDT) when the plain ticker is ambiguous.
  • Keep the timeframe fixed across symbols so the comparison is fair.
  • If a symbol switch fails, confirm the symbol exists in your watchlist and is spelled exactly as TradingView shows it.
